Ahoi!

I’ve been neglecting this site a little.
I’m sorry.
But I’m back and I’m live – well, sort of.
I have recorded my first podcast and, – who could have guessed? -, it’s about music. Songwriting, to be more precise. It’s called PickApartist and it was inspired by the „Song Exloder“ podcast by Hirishikesh Hirway (http://songexploder.net –> The link will take you right to it, you should definitely check it out.)
In PickApartist I dissect one of my songs each episode, starting with „Fire“ in the first one. The format is meant to give information about the songwriting process, inspirations for the lyrics, how the songs change in the studio and why certain production decisions were made.
